How to attach yarn to knitting using a slip stitch and a crochet hook?
I have a knitting pattern for a skirt that has corset like ties up the back. To make the loops that the corset ribbon is laced through, you have a yarn over that you attach a new yarn to using a slip stitch. I only know how to knit, not crochet, so I’m a little lost.
Here’s the part of the pattern I’m having issues with:
Remove yo from safety pin and place on crochet hook. Attach yarn using sl st.
How exactly do I do that?
Hold the YO so it looks like a litte “e” and slip the crochet hook through the loop. With the crochet hook, “hook” the yarn you’re attaching and pull a loop through the “e” loop. That’s a slip stitch.
