Where to sell hand crocheted items?

I do a lot of crocheting and my projects are starting to pile up. Where is a good place to sell my hand crocheted items? I have tried eBay and they don’t sell very well there.

Craft shows, theme festivals, and the local farmers’ market are places that people sell their crafts. For online sales, http://www.etsy.com/ is a good choice, because people who *want* to buy handmade items go there specifically to buy handmade items.
