knitting blocking tools

I am being blocked from editing my avatar picture. Its so annoying, I am also being blocked from viewing other things too. Does anyone know why this is happening. eg: i wanted to view a free pdf knitting pattern and im blocked, now I have 22 items blocked in my tool bar.
