lace knit pattern
Help on knitting pattern instructions?

I don’t get what order I should do the pattern of a lace heart bookmark from this website:

First:Cast on 4 sts.
Next:
k2tog, yo, k2 tog, turn.
Third row: K1, k1 and p1 into the yo, k1.
There are now 4 sts on the needle.

Row 4: yo, k1, yo, k2, yo, k1.
for every remaining row: yo, k2 tog, yo, knit across to within 2 sts of the end of the row, yo, k2tog.
When you reach 20 stitches across: follow the instructions below:
yo, k2tog, yo, k6, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k6, yo, k2tog. On the return row, work a knit and a purl into the yo.
Work another eyelet in a similar manner:
yo, k2tog, yo, k7, k2tog, yo, k2tog, k7, yo, k2tog. On the return row, work a knit and a purl into the yo.
You now have 24 stitches on the needle.
then follow the instructions for ‘top of the heart’
