Knitting pattern – Sweater with pocket and kitty?

When I was younger I had a cute knitted pull-over sweater. On the front was a big square pocket, with a little kitty coming out. The kitty was knitted into the body of the sweater. Have any idea where I can find a similar pattern? Maybe in a bigger size…?

Do you design at all? I think you’d really have to take a standard sweater pattern and add the kitty and pocket yourself. Do you have a friend or older relative with a talent like this?

You could always check Annie’s Attic or Mary Maxim. They have a really excellent selection of fun patterns for knitting and other needle crafts. If they have a kid-sized pattern for something like it, you could buy that pattern and then superimpose it over one your own size.
