How do i finish off a scarf on the knifty knitter?

Im a little confused as to how i should finish off my scraf. I’m working on the round loom, and not sure how to finish it so it dosent unravel when i take it off.
Someone told me to take it off the loom and put it on the knitting needles to finish it off, but i dont know how to knit so…..

You can finish the scarf two ways depending on the look you want.

1. – You can finish it like you do a hat and take the needle and long end of the yarn and go up thru each loop on the pegs then slid it off the loom and gather it shut. On the other end where you started it, take the tail of the yarn and go thru the first loops you made and gather them to close that end.

2. – If you can crochet…. take the first loop off the peg and put it on a crochet hook, take the next loop off the next peg and put it on the crochet hook, wrap yarn from end and pull thru loops on hook, take next loop off peg and put on hook and wrap the yarn and pull thru loops, repeat all the way around.
